Until now, your focus has been on getting through treatment so end of treatment can be a time of mixed emotions. You are likely to be happy that treatment is over but at the same time, the full emotional impact of what you’ve gone through may start to hit you once treatment ends.
This is often the time people think about their body, about their sex lives, about whether or not the cancer will come back or what it means if the outcome from treatment was not all that you wanted. These are normal responses and take time to work through.
